 WHO WE ARE

Courage of Love Counseling Center, LLC is a private mental health and substance abuse practice located in Atlanta, GA and was founded by D’Antoinette Edwards MS, LPC. Individual, couple’s, family, and group therapy services are offered for ages 6 and older for people of all races, ethnicities, orientations, and religious identities. We are dedicated to the advancement of mental and emotional health and invite you to allow us to assist you along your journey.

Services are tailored to fit the unique needs of every client. Therapy is a tool for change and should be provided by a professional who is non-judgmental, caring, properly educated and trained, and who has in mind your best interests at all times. 

Our founder, D’Antoinette (Dee) Edwards, has achieved a Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University and a Dual Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from Georgia State University. She is credentialed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (#008466).

In addition, Dee is experienced in providing services for children, adolescents, adult and geriatric men and women with mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders both inpatient and outpatient levels of care. As a qualified Mental Health Professional, she is dedicated to supporting the achievement of emotional stability through collaborative, therapeutic processes. Dee relishes in being able to assist her clients in accomplishing an optimal level of happiness, peace, authenticity, and self-acceptance.
